I have no audio. The only sound I get comes from a blutooth. Under system prefs, intel hd audio id is 0, I do not no what is wrong and any help is greatly appreciated. I have tryed resetting the pram and the smc, nothing works, there is no red light coming from the headphone jack.
The headphone jack is part of the Logic board (as you can see here). So replacing it is a big job (and costly). I would first see if the jacks internal switch is twisted or dirty. Often one of the contacts spins around disabling the switch. Use a magnifier to look down into the hole to see if the contact is correct. Use a toothpick to move it over and/or clean the surface where the contacts touch. If you can’t fix it I would look at a USB adapter or stick with the Bluetooth headphones.
