I was playing my ps4 suddenly only the console turns off not my tv so it cannot be a power outage. I unplugged the console from the back even tried to plug it on another plug and nothing.
There are several things to check. First of all, make sure that the power plug is securely plugged into the back of the console. It’s common for it to come loose and cause this type of problem. Secondly, I’m not sure if you live in an area with cockroaches or not but if they have gotten into your PS4 they may have caused the power supply to go bad. Third, it’s possible that the power supply just went out. While this isn’t super common it does happen. I hope this helps.
