Hihi! haven’t been here in quite a while. Anyway, I’ve got a problem. I cannot seem to figure out the proper values for the thermistors in my 3D printer. I have spent a few hours researching, and found I need a Beta Value and an R value. I know the thermistors are 100kOhms. (according to Reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comm… ) And according to Marlin Firmware tables for said thermistor, it has these values:
Using the values of “M305 P0 T100000 R1000 B4200 ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 0 M143 H0 S120 ; Set temperature limit for heater 0 to 120C results in tempature readings of 38C when it should be roughly 22C Hopefully I phrased this in a way thats not as confusing as it is to me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I figured it out. There was a preset option you could select and with a little editing to it I was able to make it work. here are the Sensor Values that are working: 100kOhm Thermistor Beta: 3988 R: 2200
@captainsnowball brother you are not giving us much to work with here:-) No pictures of the part? Good to see you on here. Anyhow, the thermistor you are looking for should be a B57560G1104F000 - Thermistor, NTC, 100 kohm, B57560G1 Series, 4092 K, Through Hole, Radial Leaded. Here is the datasheet NTC thermistors for temperature measurement, glass-encapsulated sensors, standard type
