Chosen Solution

I recently did something dumb and ordered a new clock unit for my 2000 Honda Accord LX. I didn’t know there was two versions of the Hazard Switch. Long story short, it didn’t let my Turn Signals work. I tried to disconnect it and my lights and tail lights went out. It blew the fuse on the passenger side that controls the Tail lights, so I replaced it. Which leads me here, the Tail lights work but the dashboard backlights don’t, the clock backlight doesn’t and the shifter lights don’t either. Oddly enough, the back lights for the clock and dashboard are on without the headlight switch on, but once on they shut off. Replaced all blown fuses, tail light relay and hazard relay. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Turns out the driver side multiplex on the fusebox fried itself. Replaced it and all lights are but up and working.

Hi @drujackson , Have you tried adjusting the instrument panel brightness control, when the headlights are on? Here’s an image taken from the owner manual for your vehicle.
