Does anyone know if the GPU is upgradeable or replaceable? on the iFixit teardown, I cannot see where the GPU is on the logic board or whether it’s a replaceable part? The issue is Currently, the iMac turns on and chimes and but no display, just backlight glow and can’t see any icons using a torch. It also won’t display externally using an external display port. Any ideas? Thank you
Sorry, the last replaceable GPU MXM board model was in the 2011 models. This model does not offer a dedicated GPU, it only offers the Intel HD Graphics 6000 or Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 which is within the CPU chip.
