I have a water damaged Iphone 5 board that I have cleaned with alcohol. The phone turns on and I am able to connect it to the laptop but the touchscreen does not work and the LCD does not display anything. The backlight turns on after I ran a microjumper from FL24 to pin 5 of J5 since the pad was ripped. The board is missing a C101 but I don’t think that should be an issue. I checked the display filters L41-L45 and they all seem to have continuity. What else should I look for? Thanks in advance. Edit: FL24 not FL34

How thoroughly did you clean the logic board. Water damage devices can have all kinds of hidden problems. FL34 shouldn’t have anything to do with the backlight, it is on the LCD_HIFA_BSYNC line, which synchronizes the LCD to the Touch. C101 is a bypass cap for the button so it shouldn’t have anything to do with your problem either. I would check the PMIC and it’s associated circuitry as that is where the voltages for both the LCD and Touch controllers are generated.
