Hi have a GE French door pgss5rkzss that we purchased about 8-9 years ago. Just recently our fridge would turn off completely and then turn back on a few hrs later. It happened again last evening and it still hasn’t turned on. I scoured the internet to find answers and couldn’t find anything. Our control panel isn’t on either. I have no idea what it could be. I’ve seen people changed the motherboard and I’ve seen others highly advised not to do that unless it’s burnt. Please help. I haven’t pulled the board out yet but wanted to check everything else before I get to that point. Any advise will help. Thanks!!
Weird. I unplugged it for 20 secs and plugged it back and it came back on. Thanks!
First Check the outlet for power. This sounds to simple, but its usually the issue. If it doesn’t work respond back.
