When i turn my computer on it says that i do not have an operating syetem i put in the windows cd and boot from it and i try to install it but it spgets stuck at starting set up what do i do to fix this?
Sal Torre, sounds like you have a bad hard drive. That would explain why you got the no OS found error and why windows won’t install. Use a Live CD ( I use Puppy Linux) and see if you can access your hard drive when you boot from that. Right now it does sound like you will need a new drive.
