Hi There, Today I have replaced an display of the iphone 4S. When testing I discovered that (when placing a call) the other end can’t hear me. Only weird beeping cracking sounds are heard. Putting the phone on the speaker, everything is fine. No recording can be made by the dictaphone. I think that by assembling the phone again, the ribbon cable of the noise cancelation mic is damaged. Which ribbon cable do I need to order, and (of course) is there a guide for this? Thanks, Jos Appologies for my bad English…. :-)

Hi, When you make a call, the iPhone used down microphone (it’s on the доцк connector flex cable): iPhone 4S Dock Connector Replacement Pic:21. When you use loudspeaker function the phone used upper microphone (it’s on the headphone jack flex cable): iPhone 4S Headphone Jack Cable Replacement If you have problem with down microphone, this is your part: iPhone 4S Dock Connector Otherwise you have problem with mainboard. Regards.
