Solved No Picture After Power Surge Samsung Television

Hi, we had a power surge and the TV shows no picture now. Backlight and sound still works, can switch through channels. I checked the Mainboard and saw a bad looking chip? See picture please. I’ve already replaced the T-CON Board. TV is a Samsung UE32F5300

@realhus , Board level repair without a schematic or obvious damage is very difficult You have replaced the tcon, the backlights work, the audio works so presumably the power board works as well so this only leaves the mainboard or the panel (did you try the menu screens just to see if they showed?) but yes I think that the mainboard is most likely the problem. Try finding a supplier that has a good returns policy so that if it isn’t the problem it won’t cost you as much Cheers.
