Hello yesterday I noticed a darker line going across the middle of the screen not a black line you could still see the picture. Today I got up turned it on and the picture was there then it went totally black but still has sound. I turned it off waited a few minutes turned it on picture was there less then a minute it goes back out. Thanks
dixie98 you need to tell us the complete model of your TV. Let us know if it was a horizontal or vertical line. Could be an issue with the main board as well as the t-con board etc. First thing to do is to remove the back of your set and look for obviously damaged components on the boards. Check for leaking or domed capacitors. Remove the ribbon cables and reset them to ensure that they are connected well.
