My tv just went black and there is a purple light that’s on where the red standby light is.What could be the problem?.TV is HN32N2176H

Hi, Is there still sound on the TV? Try shining a torch (flashlight) at an angle close to the screen and check if there are any images to be seen. They will be very faint if they are there so trying in a darkened room may help to see them. if there are images then there is a backlight problem with the screen. if there are no images and no sound then most probably it is a power board or mainboard problem. Was there a storm or power outage just before the problem occurred with the TV?
