Chosen Solution
So I have replaced the digitizer on a iPad mini 3 and now there is no power, or sound. I plug it into my computer and nothing. It worked before I replaced the digitizer and now nothing. I have tried to replace the lcd, and replaced the digitizer with another one as well and still nothing. What could be causing this problem
If you have two iPads that are not detected by iTunes, then perhaps your problem is with the Lightning cable or your computer. I would reboot the computer and if that doesn’t work, then try a different (preferably genuine Apple or known-good) Lightning cable.
