Hello! I have a macbook pro M1 that had a bad logic board, making a popping noise when plugged in. I have replaced the board, and am still getting no power. The popping noise stopped, but I am not sure where to go from here. I have ensured everything is plugged in, and I am sure that nothing is missing. Any ideas?
After randomly disconnecting the display, the computer booted as normal. I shut it down and reconnected the display, with the computer booting again. The battery is shot though and I will be replacing it. Thanks for the help everyone!
Did you replace the married TouchID power button that came with the replacement logic board? That is a must! Frankly, I would have checked to see if it was still covered under warranty. Even still I would have tried to get a warranty exception for this issue as something is not right!
