I was given a PS4 slim 1tb limited Edition cod ww2 system. I tried plugging it up and got no power, no beep no nothing and I used different cables. Was told when I got it that the people who had it before would unplug it before it could fully turn off. I wanna try and fix it but if I can’t, it makes for a good display

The turning off problem was most likely due to a failing hard drive which was showing signs of being very slow causing it to seem to never fully switch off. The power issue on the other hand should be a bad power supply as it’s not good to constantly unplug while it’s on. To fix this I’d say it needs a new PSU and a replacement laptop 2.5” hard drive. To avoid spending money and on parts without being sure it would fix it I’d take it to a reputable console repair store to try get it fixed. DIYwise I’d say about $100 usd in parts. Before ordering a PSU you’d have to take the PSU out to get the model number printed under it. PlayStation 4 Slim Power Supply Replacement PlayStation 4 Slim Disk Drive Replacement
