Chosen Solution
I bought this used iPhone 7 Plus second hand. Owner said it just stopped turning on and was okay with it. I thought it would be an easy fix. After plugging it in to charge, it never turned on. Same with the computer, it did not detected it. I ordered a charger port replacement from alibaba, replaced it and connected it. NOTHING. No charge, not recognized by computer. So, I ordered a replacement battery on ebay and still no success. No sound, image or vibration. Any suggestions what might be the problem? Thank You!

Usually when the phone does not turn on, battery is the least likely cause since the battery almost never fails completely. This is NOT an easy fix. Anything could go wrong with your phone, and since it does not turn on, you know nothing about the real nature of the problem, it could range from easy to nightmare. Naively thinking the problem must lie at the easy end will cost you big time. Either return the phone or suck it up as a life lesson, or pay premium for board level repairs.
Might be a motherboard issue, you could go in and check all the flexes, reseat them. If there are any signs of physical damage, like a bend? that could pretty much tell you if something broke.
