I am not aware of any water damage. I have tried a SMC reset,disconnecting track pad and keyboard and unplugging battery to no avail. The battery chage indicator is completely dead. I know the charger works as I have used it on other MacBooks. Thanks!
It’s the onewire circuit, probably a power surge caused or unfiltered by one of the usual aftermarket cheap chargers. Or it’s pulled down by the charging rails, maybe a dead MOSFET.
