Hi I have no screen output in my friends tab. I do the odd iPhone repair and got stuck with looking at this. Originally just thought it needed hard reset as there was only a noise when put on charge - nothing else. But didn’t work. After various combinations of button pressing (with no screen and no experience of Samsung tabs I was double blind!!) I somehow opened a game - the game music was playing away and again with some screen bashing it could be heard the game firing bullets. I’m told the tab was sat on by a three year old… Is there a simple screen ribbon cable that commonly comes away etc? Many thanks
Hi @bantamdave21 , Here is a link to the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Wi-Fi Touchscreen und LCD Replacement guide. It should be of some help to you, as it shows how to open the tablet and dis-assemble it so that youcan inspect the video cable connections etc. If they seem to be OK perhaps then the LCD screen has been damaged somehow and needs to be replaced. Search online for suppliers that suit you best.
its possible that the lcd ribbon got loose, try reseating it and see what happens
