Repairing an iPhone 5 with no touch. Came to us in pretty bad shape missing screws and brackets inside, which we have replaced and are putting a new screen on. It did not previously respond to touch and still does not with a new screen. Triple checked all the connectors and ribbons are correctly seated and can not figure out what the problem may be. Any ideas?
by replacing the screen do you mean the glass or the complete glass and digitizer and LCD? If you just replaced the glass and there was no touch with the broken screen you needed to replace the digitizer as well. Hope this helps
