Hello, i have an iphone 6 water damaged and the touchscreen its not working, home button is not working too. I took the screen off the phone and put it on another one, and everything is working fine so the problem its not the screen or the home button. What can it be? Where should i look on the board? Thank you!
You would need to take board out and remove shields and putting through a quality ultrasonic cleaner. You will most likely have corrosion under touch ic which would cause no touch. You could also have corrosion around the fpc connectors causing the home key to not function this could also be the reason for no touch.
