Have you tried to reset the NVRAM? Hold Command-Option-P-R at boot and wait for three boot chimes. Has this MBP been opened lately?

Same problem here!!! Tried SMS reset, PRram reset, sudo’s commands, … nothing works! Please helpppp

Under Hardware; Camera - No video capture devices were found. I have tried SMC I have tried Hold Command-Option-P-R Still nothing works

I also have the same problem, is there any solutions?

I have the same issue too… Under Hardware; Camera - No video capture devices were found.

Hi folks, Any update on this? I have the same problem and it is so irritating.

Nope. Apple will destroy your hardware with an update. They turned off my Bluetooth and WiFi on my iPod touch. That’s all the update was for. 9.3.5 and they did the same to my MacBook and many others. For no reason

I’ve been dealing with a weirdly broken webcam at this mac for about three months now, and I’ve tried a tonne of commands at the Terminal as well. After buying a USB camera and it being seen at the “USB” section but the Camera section still saying that no video capture device was found, I’m pretty !#^&@@ off. Nobody’s got any fixes that doesn’t involve upgrading the mac again?

Here it is January of 2022 and I am having this same issue after a software update, and Apple can’t figure out what is going on. None of the troubleshooting has worked. They can’t find anything wrong with the actual camera and they refuse to look into the actual software. Has there been any fix to this solution in the past for anyone that troubleshooting did not work for?
