Chosen Solution

So my phone sustained water damage, and I did the epic rice treatment for Day 1. The following day I took it to a smartphone “clinic” where they took it apart and soaked it in a chem bath. They were able to clean it out and get it up and running, however, bluetooth and wifi do not work. WiFi is “grayed” out, and the bluetooth setting just keeps showing the spinner. GSM works perfect, as I am able to make and receive calls, use 3G data, etc. I’m wondering if the Broadcom chip that controls WiFi and Bluetooth is shorted, and if there is anything that can be done to restore this functionality.

For me, the solution was either to get a new logic board, or do an OOW replacement from Apple. I went with the OOW replacement, and paid $150.
