Hello - I have an IPhone 6 S plus, the wifi is greyed out but the Bluetooth turns on and can pick up BL devices. In Settings / General /About a wifi address can be seen. Have replaced wifi modules and antennas - the symptoms don’t match the classic wifi IC failure and the phone is not getting hot. Any ideas? Thanks

I thought someone had answered this. Why is my WI-FI greyed out? 1.       No power getting to the Wi-Fi chip 2.       Oxidised pads under the WI-FI chip 3.       Brocken trace under WI-FI chip 4.       Damaged WI-FI chip 5.       WI-FI chip not communicating with the CPU If you have blue tooth you can rule out number 1.

First re-hot the WI-FI chip and check. That must be WI-FI module faulty because both have enviled in same chip. Remember that you need to unbing WI-FI with Nand by removing.
