Chosen Solution

So I bought an iPhone 5 off eBay that was described as not starting up. Actually, the battery was drained and it loaded perfectly after attaching it to the power source for a few hours. Now, the iPhone is powered up and running, but there is no WIFI or Bluetooth. When I open the tray, there is only a grey circle where the WIFI symbol should be. The Bluetooth symbol is visible in the tray and I can activate it, but then, it never completes the process of turning on. I have tried overheating the iPhone with a hair drier twice now, as this is the proposed method to resurrect WIFi, but that didn’t work. I also completely restored the phone and tried to activate WIFI before restoring my profile. Nothing. the WIFI tray icon remained grey and Bluetooth kept on failing at starting up.

Wi-Fi / Bluetooth ic chip needs to be replaced to fix problem.
