I have a noisy fan when first switched on, but it seems to go quiet when it’s warmed up ,I’ve stripped it down and replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the heatsinks
Did you clean the bearing area underneath the fan?
@noggin343 this “noisy fan when first switched on quiet when it’s warmed up” leads me to suggest that you replace the fan. Bad bearings etc will do this. PlayStation 3 Super Slim Fan Replacement
