Hi, I am doing this on behalf of my brother. He has a yellow lumia 1020 and loves it. Recently, his phone has started to malfunction, and the flashlight led stays on, no matter what we have tried! We have completely discharged the battery, and as soon as we plug it back in, the flashlight turns back on again! we have tried the software, but it freezes as soon as we try and access anything to do with the camera and flashlight! He is known for dropping his device a lot and it has not been exposed to water* Any Ideas? Thanks very much in advance!
Same problem here (focus assistant stuck). Camera stop working, everything else was fine. Found a couple of tutorials suggesting hard reset but didn’t fix it. Argentina’s official retailer couldn’t fix it either. A friend of mine opened the phone, in my case the flash was causing an electrical problem. Removed the flash, everything is working again (except the flash, we don’t have spare parts in Argentina) Hope this information helps you

I have this problem too! My flashlight has been on for 2 weeks. It only turns off if I remove the battery. I have tried doing the factory reset, but it’s still there… Also, when my phone is dead, the flashlight finally switches off, but as soon as I connect the charger, it switches on again…It’s so frustrating!!!! If you know how to fix, please let me know!
