I can hold the key in the start position and it will run while it’s held there but if you let it go it shuts off. We changed out the solenoid and it does the same thing. With the solenoid out we can start the motor and it runs fine. We are not able to kill the engine with the key switch. We have to disconnect the fuel line to kill it.
