Hi A few weeks ago I dropped my iphone 6s in the water, it all worked fine could charge and so. Until a few hours later I couldn’t charge anymore so I thought the battery was dead. I checked this theory by using a volt meter and the pins connected to the battery gave out a good voltage when connected to the power outlet. So I bought a new battery and just replaced the old one. My iphone got back to life however it still won’t charge ?!? even tough the pins gave out a good voltage. Any thing I can try or should I just give up ? thx

I think you have done all you can for a water damaged phone unless you want to try a new dock connector. Your phones charging circuit on the logic board will be the problem for now, and then other problems will arise. I would not spend any more time or money on this device.

Have you tried cleaning the the charge hole? I found there gets a lot of dust and crap in a tiny space and the wire won’t connect! Use a needle and try digging around, you’d be surprised
