what if you’ve brought it not knowing it was cloud locked? I mean there are people on ebay that are selling them and they are the owners of the phone

If they are the real owners they should have cleared the lock or told you. If they can’t … what can I say find a deep lake and give it a good toss. Sorry
Yes, it actually is possible. You will have to replace NAND, CPU and baseband. It will take some microsoldering work, but it is indeed possible.
