Worked fine, then: searching for satellites forever. Everything else is working. Updated software, chipset, downloaded new maps, reset it dozen times, put it outside away from buildings for a day and it is still somewhere in Kansas. Any help?
Why not try this. Perform an update using Garmin’s WebUpdater. Update to the newest version and also update the “Chipset M” which can be selected as an additional update after the firmware has finished updating. Then perform a master reset using the button on the back of the unit with the unit turned on. Garmin Updater and Garmin’s solution Since you are not in Kansas anymore, you have really nothing to lose….good luck
