The graphic NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT is known for being defective http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2377. Applecare now says that the repair extension is over. Is it possible to find such cards and is the replacement not too difficult ? All the best AF

I don’t know this for certain, but the graphic cards on most macs are actually on the board and not a separate card like in a Windows PC. So you may not be able to simply replace it.
