Is there a video available that shows how to remove and replace an Nvidia QUADRO 1000M video card in a Lenovo W520 work station??? I believe mine has gone bad. I get screen blinking on and off going black and sometimes blue screen of death and reboot. Thanks Trent

Hi @cyberscenes , Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop. As there is no mention of a separate video card the conclusion is that it is mounted on the motherboard and cannot be easily replaced. Have you tried starting the laptop in “safe mode” to see if the problem occurs? Have you tried connecting an external monitor to verify the display is OK? Have you tried updating the graphics adapter drivers (relevant to your OS) to see if this resolves the problem?

I am having the same problem it started in the begging of October/2017; I am suspecting of some issue that is causing TDRdelay expire . Please check Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR). I set it to 60 seconds (Decimal). For more details you can find in Microsoft and in the site drivethelife. The ifixit robot is not working properly, and blocked my post when I past the link of Microsoft and DrivetheLife. Windows 7: Help me configure registry correctly to solve TDR issue Backup Registry For windows the TDRdelay is DWORD, for 64 bits QWORD.
