My 2011 chevy equinox oil pressure low turn off engine sign apered on my dash board then weird noise from engine and smoke was coming out the hood turn it off poped the hood open all my oil leaked out from bottom checked dip stick and it was dry know it dosent turn on.
@tony209 all of this “engine sign apered…then weird noise from engine… smoke was coming out…all my oil leaked out from bottom…now it doesnt turn on” sounds like a seized engine. There are just to many things going on for us to even come up with a single solution. you can try and remove the spark plugs, add oil to the engine and then try to turn the engine by hand using a socket wrench on the crankshaft nut. If you can still turn the engine it may get repaired, if you cannot turn it, it most likely seized up on you. Let us know what you find out
