Laptop name: Asus x64vg-jx008c.Modell: X64V.MB Ver: N61VG. (about 2009, Windows Vista(i wanted to switch linux after recharged, but the laptop says: no)).And this laptop is literally brand-new, so it was barely used.Adapter: 19V | 3.42A | ?W(not written on it).Laptop input power: 19V | 4.74A | 90W. Iknow, the Amper is lower, but i heard it still works just we need to watch for the adapter to do not overheat, and dont do anything that consumes power; but maybe this is the problem? So i want to charge my laptop, and first the storage led started to glow in orange, and after some time it started to charging(the battery led started to glow in red) and after more time i turn on, and it boot, and all, so i shut down and conintune charging. But after 1,5 - 2 hour i looked at the laptop again, and then this happened:The storage led, the turn on/off button blinking in white, and the cd/dvd write, and the adapter blinking green at the same time, and the adapter’s temperature is not warm, its just room temperature.Oh and i forgot: with battery it doesnt do anything, but this happen with adapter.I tested the HDD in my Pc and its working fine. And if the adapter is not plugged in the laptop, then its only glowing in green, so not blinking or flashing. And another: yes i tired to hold the power on/off button for some sec, without batetry and adapter, and then i plugged in, but nothing changed. I dont know so many things about laptops, so, hope someone help me. But i think i know, that the laptop is dead :( . I asked this here again, because on reddit no one answered, but i posted on 3 subreddit, and nothing XD.

My apologies if I get this answer a bit messed up but the english is very broken. Don’t worry though. I think I’ve got a few answers. The Laptop isn’t completely ‘dead’ per say as you said after you’ve charged it for a few hours it brings up a white screen and some what powers on. This usually means the Laptop isn’t getting enough power. It can easily be fixed by buying an aftermarket AC adapter as certain components of a power supply can fail over time. Type in to eBay Acer_(model number) power adapter it should give you loads of results for adapters. Make sure it supply the right amount of power to your laptop. It could also mean your Laptop battery is dead which you can look for one doing the same procedure above. Hope this helps. Good luck fixing your device!
