@kru I’m wondering if the SD card is failing. If you have another SD card try inserting that and save some pictures to it and check if the problem still occurs. Also try inserting the original SD card into a card reader that is attached to a PC or maybe a laptop that has one installed and check if you can view the files OK when the card is accessed using another card reader rather than going though the phone and phone’s card reader to get to it. Again just trying to isolate where and what the problem might be. If it turns out to be the SD card is the problem then you may be able to recover your corrupted files from the SD card with proprietary software that I’ve seen advertised online. Search for memory card data recovery software (or similar) to see if any are of interest to you and that you think may help. Update (09/08/2021) Hi @kru , You won’t break your phone trying to remove/insert the SD card. Just take it easy and follow the directions as shown in the image below. If you don’t have the requisite opening tool, a straightened out paperclip will suffice. Remember that the memory card (SD Card) tray will come out easily so you don’t have to apply too much pressure when inserting the pin. Just keep gently pushing it in until the tray pops out far enough to grab it. Also the card only sits in it one way (look for the notch on the side of the old one before removing it from the tray - there is also an image etched on the memory card tray showing which way it sits -rectangle shape with a notched side) and the tray only inserts one way. If it is upside down it won’t go in, so don’t force it. Once you have removed the memory card you can place a new one in the tray and insert it into the phone, then format the card in the phone and then try using it to see if it works OK. Also if you know anyone who has a laptop with a SD card reader or a card reader connected to a computer, you can insert the card into their reader just to check if the files are still OK or not.
