When I close the door the microwave starts and stops on it’s own bc the latch broke. Can it be fixed and does it cost a lot
It sounds like a plastic part has probably broken. You could Google for panasonic microwave spares but I’m afraid I wouldn’t hold out much hope. When 3D printers become really cheap you might be able to print yourself a spare part but that’s probably not an option for now. If you do decide to take it apart, be aware that the innards of a microwave are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS when plugged in, and there’s a capacitor which is likely to retain enough charge to give you a very nasty shock long after it’s switched off.
