Chosen Solution
So I have purchased a screen from Ifixit for the iPhone 5 which contained the repair kit. I’ve followed the guide throughly and have replaced most of the parts for the screen. Whilst putting the screen back on I’ve faced a major issue. One of the digitiser cables out of the three are vertical. I’m not sure whether this was an error on the manufacturing side. But I want to know if there’s a way to change its position or will I need to order a new screen instead
Sounds like you got either an iPhone 5s, 5c or SE screen, these two screens have the vertical digitizer touch screen connector coming from the screen which is next to the display cable, without counting the front camera cable.
