My iphone suffered water damage after a trip on the motorbike. Tried to dry it out with rice and then with silica. When this did not help, submerged it in isopropyl alcohol to clean the inside and again let it dry in a box with silica. The phone now displays the logo when hooked up to the charger. The screen looks like it has fine sugar in it; i.e. the black screen shows different hues. It will shut down and restart but not beyond the black screen with the apple logo. Which parts should I replace to make it work again? thanks in advance for your help, Wim
Try a new battery- While the phone is open I’d give an even better clean than the swim in iso. It may save your phone in the long run.
