Some water goes into machine then stops and starts again adds a little more….the tub does not fill up and while washing the clothes get wet but it’s not filling up
Water Inlet Valve If the washer fills very slowly, the water pressure from the house might be too low. If the pressure is good, try cleaning the screens inside the water inlet valve hose connection ports. If those are clean replace the water inlet valve. Low Water Pressure from House Supply If the washer fills very slowly, the water pressure from the house might be too low. If the water inlet valve isn’t leaking and there are no other symptoms this problem does not need to be corrected.
On my stackable Kenmore washer only some water will fill (like a couple of liters) and the stop, then no more water will fill.
