Hey guys, Ive got an iphone 6, i think it has a small water issue. So that it wont turn on, After cleaning it starts normaly and everythink work quite fine. But the only think wich not working is the wifi. The Symbol greyed out, and only the wifi symbol, bluetooth works. Have you an idea what i can do before i have to change the chip? Are there messuring points or sth like that? Best regards Update (11/09/2017) Hey ooh, so now I have opened my phone and is see that there is one connector from the wifi antenna is missing. So I need to replace this! Thank you for that. BUT I have cleaned the board and one capacitor fall of:( It was the big Cap next to the Wifi IC, Can you tell me what this is? I can solder I am electronics.. aaaah
@freddred , It sounds like you knocked off the C5202_RF which is PP_VCC_MAIN Cap
Gently clean up the underfill that surrounds it, add a bit of flux, clean pads and put it back… should be an easy repair Good Luck!
Does your gps and bluetooth work? if your wifi/gps and bluetooth is acting up try open up your phone and check this part. iPhone 6 Logic Board Antenna Flex Cable 8/10 times I have had this problem into my store its the antenna flex cable.
