Does this Optical Bay, iMac & Mac mini Dual Drive Enclosure, also work with an iMac Intel 27-inch mid 2010 (EMC 2390)?
You don’t need to give up your optical drive in this system. This system has a spare SATA port to support a second drive. While Apple didn’t offer it in this series it was able to support an additional drive (SSD). Follow this IFIXIT guide: Installing iMac Intel 27" EMC 2390 Dual Hard Drive Kit
