Hi. I had sucessfull replace the Optical Drive for my MacBook Core 2 Duo. It work perfectly but is assigned to E: Now My system show I have D: and E:, but D: is not there, What is the problem? How to correct it back? Thanks Chia

It’s just a drive letter. It serves no purpose other then to identify the drive in windows. By default, floppy drives stary at A: Hard drives start at C: (Boot device is C: by default) Optical Drives Start At D:, and other drives are lettered accordingly.

This is not a problem, just rename it as Chris Green mentioned previously
