Chosen Solution
So I was cleaning my ps4 and decided to take it apart. When i came upon to take off the ribbons for the optical drive, I accidentally pull the clip of the second cable (middle one) all off of the motherboard. How do I go upon putting the clip back on to the pins? I tried to just put the clip over the pins like any pin to a breadboard but there are too many pins that it would not go in at all. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Pictures:
The only way to fix this is to replace the connector. This will involve removing the existing pins and attaching a new connector. I don’t know the availability of the connector, but it should be available from Digikey or Mouser. Email me if you need to get this done since some experience is required to change parts like this.
