Why is this? Does the home button have to be attached in order to work? The screen was working before but now not. All of the cable are attached correctly. Please help
Did you disconnect the battery before changing the screen? The home button doesn’t need to be hooked up for the screen to work. Get a magnifying glass and check the connections for damaged pins and clean them with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. Make sure the battery is disconnected before you do anything.
