Chosen Solution

Hello, My macbook pro reaches 70 degrees when i’m browsing I had 2 tabs open one from a video on youtube and an other one at ifixit.com and the cpu was 72 degrees, I thought that the thermal paste needed a change, so I bought the Artic Silver 5. The problem doesn’t solved. P.S. sorry for my poor english Update (07/01/2019) The CPU doesn’t have a lot of load but it is 65 degrees

At a close look at activity monitor you can see all Google related tasks are devouring about 50% of your CPU capacity just to watch a youtube video and doing heaven only knows what else. A 70°C is a pretty normal temperature for such a heavy load on processor. Shut down Chrome and try opening up the same video with Safari..I’m quite confident CPU load and temperature will go down quite a bit.

I had hoped you had a simple problem just running out of space. At this point you’ll need to dig into Activity Monitor to see what is chewing CPU cycles. You may have either malware or a virus on your system. Update (07/02/2019) It looks like one of your Google Chrome Helpers is chewing your CPU cycles (29,1) & 20 Threads which is quite high! What is the webpage you are accessing? It is a media site (music or video). If it is the helper is either poorly written or is trying to do something it likely shouldn’t. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome and its helpers. Maybe you need to try a different Web Browser to see if that’s better. You have Safari, see if thats better.
