Hello, I got a P30 Lite that suffered water damage and would not turn on again. I replaced the Main Board, charging board, cables,…etc. and now it starts but the screen is very dimmed. I could only see it with a flashlight. I tried hard reset, tested with a new screen, another battery,…etc., same issue. I also noted that when i connect the charger, the phone doesnt charge and the battery starts dropping down. could this be a faulty main board? or other parts? I am lost. Thanks
Hi @simbalux, Was the mainboard new or guaranteed working OK? Here’s a link that may help with the screen’s backlight problem. Here’s a link that may help with the charging problem perhaps. You can only check to see as it could be something else e.g. was the charge daughterboard water damaged as well and did you replace it also?
