Hi, Recently my TV won’t power on. There is no Red LED light. I have a feeling the TV received a power surge during a recent power storm. Does the TV have an internal replaceable fuse? or is there a board that is known to go with a power surge? Thanks for your help
Hi, Here is a link to the service manual for a Panasonic TC-P50G10 TV. I hope that it is close enough to your model to be of some help. http://elektrotanya.com/panasonic_tc-p50… To download the file when the sentence below the Document preview box changes fromThis file is downloadable free of charge: …processing… to This file is downloadable free of charge: Get Manual, click on the Get Manual, as this is the download link. Be patient it takes a little while to find the file. Section 6.3 on p.14 has a No Power flowchart which should be of some help diagnosing your problem. It mentions 6 fuses on the P board for a start then says to check the A board. Also after checking the fuses check for “blown"or stressed components on the boards. If in doubt take close up pictures and post back here for more help if needed. Adding images to an existing question As I do not know your level of expertise, before you remove the back off the TV to do an initial visual inspection ensure that the power cord has been removed first, as there will still be “live” power available on the TV until the cord is disconnected, assuming that you have checked that the power outlet (or powerboard if used) is still working correctly. Hopefully this is of some help.
