Chosen Solution
I’m currently working on a battery replacement and had to resort to using Goof Off vs. the Adhesive Remover that came with the new battery (I’m not that strong and needed something heavy-duty.) After removing the old battery, I started working on the leftover adhesive and I got Goof Off on a part of the panel I wasn’t intending. Now it’s discolored. Should I be concerned?
@theshadow7x Sorry for the late reply; Timezones and all that.. The marks you’ve circled appears to be hard scratch marks, made by a hard tool in scraping? I wouldn’t worry about it personally, if it was on my own device, but I would repair on a customer’s device.
