Hello, I wish to know what is the part number of the optical drive shipped with the iMac(early 2009) that is the Optiarc DVD RW AD5670S?… I need to get it replaced and they ask for a part number at the place. Please can anyone help?
Your part number is 661-4845. It is a SATA superdrive.
here’s the repair guide, but it doesn’t look like iFixit has the drive.
