Good afternoon, I have a Vizio E32-C1 that I bought refurbished. The backlight went out at least partially if not fully on the left and top of the screen. I’ve been looking at several other posts and looking at ShopJimmy parts and I’m not sure what I need to do to fix it. It started to go only slightly dim in the bottom left corner for a few days (still usable), then went a lot darker on full left side and top. I’ve attached pictures of what is looks like now (with test colors), and the labels on the back case. As suggested in other threads, I’ve pulled the case apart and attached pictures of the boards inside as well. Any guidance or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Steve
@sickpup404 this looks like failed backlight strips. Those are inside the panel. You would have to disassemble the panel to get to them. To find the right strips, use the number from the sticker that identify the panel. The parts you need for a repair of the backlight would be something like this
